Steve Wilhelms, CFS, ACS
Executive Vice President & COO

Steve Wilhelms is the Executive Vice President and COO of InfoStream, an EBE company. He is a transportation industry professional with over 20 years of safety and risk management experience, developing programs with a solid history of proven results derived by reviewing data, identifying individuals' at-risk behavior trends, identifying industry and company trends, bench-marking programs, and creating solutions.

Steve is a Certified Fleet Safety Director and has an Advanced Safety Certification from the National Safety Council. He is an active member of several state and national transportation organizations. Steve is the Chairman of the American Trucking Assn. SMC Allied Committee. He also serves as Vice Chair on the Certification Committee for the TXTA profession safety certification board. Prior to joining the InfoStream team, Steve held various positions with industry leading safety, compliance and risk management companies. SmartDrive, Vigillo, Lytx-Drivecam, RAIR and Cline Wood – Marsh comprise the majority of his career in the service provider side of the industry. 

Steve began his career in trucking as a Safety Advisor at FleetLine/Dart. He later joined Brink's US Operations as Manager of Safety Administration, Training and Compliance. He was instrumental in launching the paperless Driver Qualification File process for over 8000 Brink's drivers. Steve also was responsible for updating the Substance Abuse Policy for both regulated and non-regulated employees resulting in Brink’s gaining compliance for the very first time.

Steve is a graduate of the inaugural TXTA Leadership Training Program and has participated and conducted leadership training sessions for several organizations including Fortune 500 companies. Steve is the 2018 recipient of the TXTA Excellence in Service Award. 

Steve attended Richland College prior to joining the law enforcement profession in Texas where he achieved his Advanced Certification and was a Licensed Instructor. During his ten-year career as a police officer his assignments included commercial accident investigation and reconstruction as well two years as the lead criminal investigator. During this time Steve received awards for: Rookie of the Year, Officer of the Year and a Life Saving Award.

John Van Nortwick
Director of Product Management

John Van Nortwick serves as InfoStream's Director of Product Management. He is a transportation industry professional with over 15 years of safety and compliance product management experience. Prior to joining InfoStream, John held executive-level Product Management leadership roles at Netradyne, Lytx, and Rair Technologies. White at these organizations he managed all aspects of the product development lifecycle, performed market analysis, created product requirements and was a key technical contributor in enterprise-wide rollouts to fleet sizes ranging from 50 to 15,000 assets.

As Director of Product Management for InfoStream, John is tasked with developing product requirements and implementation roadmaps, managing enterprise client projects, and ensuring successful deployment of all InfoStream products and services. John is also responsible for creating and implementing the program management plan and program review process to further cement the InfoStream commitment of excellence to its clients.

John is also a decorated veteran of the US Marine Corps, serving during Operation Desert Storm and earning several medals for outstanding performance in combat situations.
